The Taylor’s & Company 1886 Journey Rifle is a compact .45-70 Govt. lever-action rifle built for dependable use in changing weather. Its steel receiver and components feature a durable Black Cerakote finish, while the synthetic stock and forend resist the elements. The 19-inch barrel is threaded 5/8×24 UNF for compatible muzzle accessories and is paired with a fiber optic front sight and an adjustable rear sight integrated into a Picatinny base. The ergonomic oversized loading lever is comfortable to operate with bare hands or while wearing protective gloves. A rubber buttplate and adjustable techno-polymer stock provide additional control and user comfort.
