By pushing down on the SLS and rotating it forward, releasing the handgun is as easy as acquiring a proper shooting grip. As the hand moves to grip the firearm, the ALS is disengaged by the thumb and allows for a smooth and easy draw stroke. Made from Safariland’s proprietary thermal plastic SafariLaminate, the ALS protects the firearm from the elements. SafariSuede, a soft internal coating prevents scratches and finish wear.
