The Springfield Armory X-Tension magazine sleeve slides over the top of a high-capacity full-size 45 ACP magazine to improve the fit when using compatible sub-compact pistol frames. It fills the gap between the bottom of the grip frame and the base of the magazine while keeping the magazine’s overall length unchanged.
